Why is Ellen in 3DGameKit not a Humanoid?

I'm just learning, and was super excited to learn about animations, controllers and using my own models.

I hit a brick wall when I realized why, when i tried loading up my own model that i could not use the animations from Ellen. There is not even an error that is generated when you have a model to animation miss match. It took me over a day to figure out what was going on.

In order to convert the animation controller over to humanoid I understand now is a large task.

Unity having the free assets for teaching not in the latest format is a large hurdle for us newbies.
