Why is "Double Sided Global" disabled on my Standard Material?

    I am posting this question here because all the answers I found are outdated and a clear response will help others as well. I need this feature for foliage but it can be used in other occasions as well. (i.e. a fence, etc.)

    If I can't enable this for whatever reason, please suggest a current alternative.

    My Unity version is 2017.1.0f3

    so looks like needs Progressive Lightmapper to be selected

    are you looking for 2 sided standard shader?

    Yes, I am looking for something that could be used on mobile as well without taxing resources.

    It's the leaves of a tree.
