Question Why is clustering taking so long?

    The scene is very basic and very low poly.

    Yet when baking lightmaps in this particular scene, unlike other more complicated scenes I work on, clustering takes forever.

    What values affect clustering?

    Which backend? PLM or Enlighten?

    PLM on 2021 LTS but 2020 LTS too.

    Now stuck to Light Transport.
    The process is moving forward but ridiculously slow.

    If the scene is small and self-contained enough that it isn't a major hassle, could you make a reproduction project with it? Without something concrete to investigate, it's very hard to say what might be the culprit. A specific problematic mesh, perhaps?

    The clustering and light transport stages are only run when using Enlighten, so perhaps you have real-time GI enabled by accident when you meant to use baked GI only?
