Question Why is bloom going away?

I'm doing VR, using the HurricaneVR asset. I'm tweaked a lot of stuff to my liking, but I haven't messed with graphics or post-processing or anything at all. I started adding new models, and wanted a bloom effect. I added it, and it didn't show up, so I clicked the "post processing" button on the camera in the XR rig. The bloom effect then shows up in the scene window and the game window, but the moment I hit play all the bloom effect goes away.

I've tried creating an entirety new project, and setting up the XR rig in exactly the same way, and the bloom shows up wonderfully during runtime. Clearly I have done something, but I really don't remember ever touching graphics in any way.

Can you think of anything I might have done? Or ways I can fix this? Why is the bloom working in the windows, but then turning off during runtime? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Perhaps because of a QualitySettings divergence between the two?

Or perhaps the chosen graphics API underneath it all?

    Thanks for the help!
As it turns out I had the volume component on a prefab, which was instantiated many times, so it was causing issues. I removed all cases of volume from the scene, then added it to one object, and everything worked fine.
