why has my character got a deformed foot?

    i got a run animation from mixamo and it looks fine in the unity preview window but in game the left foot looks like this. anyone know what's going on? i'm not doing any ik or anything, just straight up play the animation, and the other animation like walk, idle, etc all look fine.

    actually, i take it back, the foot is wrong in the preview window also. i tried several other running animations from mixamo and same problem

    Do not necro-post a three-year-old dead thread. Start your own.

    The bone orientations were set wrong, likely in the export from 3d art package to import in Unity. Some things can be fixed by setting the import options correctly, but you should go back to a tutorial on how to do the process correctly.
