    we have this

thinking implementing this for games, will be interesting, aren't we bored yet for 2d screens ?
I bet that hologram programing or placing gameobjects, tweaking particle systems, shaders, math on scene will much more easier, the workflow and productivity will increase don't you agree ?

...wait, does this entire product hinge on using a holographic screen technology that doesn't exist? Because that doesn't exist. That's not what a holographic plate is or how it works. This is a scam.

Besides the fact that holograms don't exist (yet?), I don't think they would be good for an entertainment medium, if we're talking about classic sci-fi holograms.

Who wants to play a game or watch a movie on a translucent screen that you can see through?

@isawyou0 Is this your product? Is there an updated version? The only youtube video i can find is the following from 2019

1 reason i could think of is that it just looks cool, but the space required seems extremely large? Need space for the screen (yep, you still need), mirror, glass and projection space? Other then looking cool, it seems to take up a foot print at least 3 times that of a normal terminal.

Lack of tactile feedback. From a user interface perspective, tactile feedback might be very important, especially for people with varying vision types, eg, long sightedness etc.

Has this been tested with people with vision challenges? Eg, Lazy eyes? Can they still make use of the technology?

Off topic. This forum is for Unity and game development. Random tech stuff doesn't belong here. Closed.
