Why doesn't System.Environment.SpecialFolder.MyDocuments save to documents folder in Linux?

    What are you trying to do?

    User folders are /home/(your user name)
    the rest of the folders that starts from root ( / ) are system folders. It's quite normal that Unity3D or any software that doesn't allow root permisions write in the home folder, in any subfolder because is user's domain.

    I think you need to be more specific with your question, neither I understood your question. Maybe you could be more specific. A log.txt or a screenshot always helps.

    On top of that its likely an issue with mono, so getting some more information as to where the files are saving to would be good.
