Why does Unity Have to Import All your Project Stuff Again and Again?

    For simple changes you do..Or Even when you push build.
    Like right now i pushed Build for just a test game of 2 scenes which just contains very few of my total assets. So why in the world is it importing ( WIndow saying "imporing"....) my entire Project assets and it's gonna take approixmately 5 hours according to my calculations.

    Why in the world does this Imoprting thing keeep happening over and over everwhere. can it be stopped? I mean, I already imported the stuff once long time ago , why would it need to import WHYUnityKeepsIMPORTINGEverything.png it again?

    PS according to the graphic now that i look at it again this might even take 8 hours to import the whole thing and it wouldn't have to IF IT JUST KNEW THAT the assets are already imported. Doesn't it know that?
