The situation is: a cutscene plays where the character wakes up on a bed, gets out of bed onto the floor and gameplay begins. The get out of bed part is done by switching from lying down animation on the bed to a idle animation on the floor and covering the transition with a fade. The problem is that when the cutscene ends, my character starts to float and spin a round in the air. I have tried turning on gravity, which resulted in the character starting to shake, falling thru the floor a bit and finally starting to float away from the ground, and turning on kinematic. Kinematic fixed the spinning and floating but now my character can no longer move forward in a smooth manner, instead doing so in weird mini teleports. Assistance would be greatly appreciated!
