Bug Why do the editor clone itself

    I have recognised lately that I suddenly have multiple instances of the editor active without me doing anything. Is this a bug or something with a purpose?

    It's just part of how Unity threads a lot of it's internal stuff. Bog standard for applications these days.

    It's just an AI spam bot.

    Refer to my response. You'll find most applications work this way, such as most browsers where every tab is a separate process.
