Why can't i link my scripts together (Unity 5.0.0b9)???

    Hi i have a new problem, i seem to be unable to link one script to another... the result in doing so is the entire scene is being declared corrupted! i have removed the links to several other scripts because i was required to in order to remove the error messages, but i 'have' to have those links (e.g public myScript thisIsMyScriptLink;) but ever since i have decided to use the new beta when it officially was available, then i haven't been able to run my game smoothly :( I hope there is a solution to this issue...
