Question Why are all my buttons not working?

    I go to game tab and press play. The buttons do nothing. Cant click, nothing happens when I hover over it. Can anyone tell me a way of fixing this?

    Hello!

    It will be good if you are able to provide more information on the problem you are facing, such as:

    1: What are the versions of your Unity Editor / relevant Packages
    2: What is your current UI button set up and how are they hooked up
    3: What is your expected outcome from an action but what's the result instead

    Screenshots / code snippets / Inspector properties on relevant areas will further help in it

    Unity version: 2020.3.25f1
    I just have a button with tmp
    If I hover over it, it should darken but nothing happens and also nothing happens when I click. It used to work but now it doesn't after I edited another scene.
    Also, I have a script in EventSystem that does nothing to the event system. Will adding scripts to it affect buttons?
