    Hi all!

I've run into several issues, posted detailed (I think) descriptions and asked in Answers:

    https://answers.unity.com/questions/1726767/mouse-or-touch-events-independent-of-framerate.html
    https://answers.unity.com/questions/1715291/instantiating-prefab-and-assigning-variable-in-edi.html
    https://answers.unity.com/questions/1723686/tracking-confidence-in-arfoundation.html
    https://answers.unity.com/questions/1704521/videoplayer-error-on-seek.html

But I'm not getting any answers. My question here is: what am I doing wrong? Am I using the Answers page incorrectly? Am I posting in the wrong section, with the wrong tags? Not specific enough in the question?

I'd really like to figure out how this online community works but I'm having a hard time.

Unity Answers is clearly not abandoned -- you can see lots of replies there. But as you also might notice, it's full of beginner Q's. The FAQ's for it are years out-of-date. Technical Q's can easily get buried, and the people who can answer them have long left. I don't think the tags have ever worked.

But Forums was never good at technical Q's. It came first, then UA was created because Forums was for discussions and that's what it produced. StackOverflow has a Unity3D area, but it seems pretty bad.

Things are still better than the old days.

That video player Q seems very specific. If you figure it out, UA encourages you to post your own answer. Editor scripts are tricky and a much smaller number of people know about them. Then that framerate Q -- it's fairly simple to have framerate independence, so it's not clear what's being asked.

Great, thanks! I will post in the forum then instead.

@Owen-Reynolds yes I was the least surprised that the video player question didnt get an answer. Framerate Q is about getting all mouse events, I will be more specific in my forum post.

    Thanks!
