So I keep getting e-mails from Morgan Schwanke from unity to buy stuff. When I respond back, I never get a reply. Hell, I have sent over a dozen e-mails to Ian Dunlap and noting. Nada. No response. Are these fake spamming names unity is doing or are these real people that just have no idea how to deal with customers? Either way, I think someone should be out of a job.

    Here's one example.

    Hi m,
Your 25% off Unity Plus offer is about to expire!Click here to claim your offer now

This is an exclusive offer that is valid now through December 20, 2016 11:59pm PDT.

Need more Pro tools than Plus has to offer? Get Unity Pro for $125/month or prepay $1,500/year.

    Sincerely,

    Morgan Schwanke

Same here, it's really unprofessional and there is now way to unsubscribe from daily updates on his life... Bit concerning that people like this have access to customer details.

This guy is spamming me for a long time already, it's starting to become unsettling. I received about 6 of those mails the past two days.

Those are automatic emails, answering them will be of no use.

You should visit your profiles here and on the assets store and make sure you have set your preferences if you don't want to receive these emails.

And potentially missing mails they actually are interested in. I receive the same discount mail for months now and often several times a day. Rather than editing preferences Unity should just sort this "Morgan(?)" out.

You must have an "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email.

Reread my original message here. I wanted to know are these fake names and why is unity spamming people and why haven't responded back when I leave messages back to them. ....and still, no response from unity here either.

They are most probably not fake names (why would Unity Technologies use fake names?) and they are not spamming you personally. They are automatic messages. Their advertising settings should be reworked obviously but they'll never know about that if you post here.

    Pm an admin.

How do you know they are not fake names? Spam is usually sent out as bulk e-mail to many people (or just a Monty Python gag). Also, this is unity's forem for stuff. They have people that read this stuff. If they don't know about stuff from posts here them that is yet another problem that they should work out.

A company like Unity Technologies using fake names? You can really think that? Unless you true question is "are these emails really coming from Unity Technologies"; in that case you need to rephrase your opening post.
