    Hì, im new to unity and i wanna try an asset that is a template pack (a full app) that i want to modify to publish with the content that i like.

    In the asset store says that "original unity version is 2019.4.34 or higher". The app comes integrated with UnityAds and UnityApp Purchase and admob. I wanna try those to see how the work so,my cuestion is:

    I should work with unity 2019 or with unity 2021? In one hand im worried about unity 2021 should lead to errors that i dont understand to solve;

    In the other hand in the reviews i saw that old reviews are all very nice but newer says the had problems with Admob. Im not using admob but i wanna try unity ads and IAP so: If i use unity 2019 these features will work or they are not working anymore

    First, determine what kind of asset this is. Most assets you can just import into an existing project. Other assets tell you that it is a "project template" or something where you will use any existing project settings and so on. If it's the latter, be sure to use the Unity version that the project states it was made for first. Make sure everything is working correctly. At this point you can just continue using that.

    However, you may be forced to upgrade Unity 2019 eventually since it's been released about 3 years ago and there may be issues with deployment to mobile devices due to Google/Apple upgrading their OSs, SDKs and subsequently the minimum SDK version required to build apps for publishing. Of course 2019 will leave that "supported SDK versions" range earlier than 2020, 2021, and 2022.

    So the next step (if it's a "template project") would be to make a copy of the 2019 project, and try opening that with 2021.3. Check again if everything works fine. If you get errors that you don't feel comfortable fixing, contact the publisher and/or make another copy of 2019 and try with 2020.3 instead.
    If it's a regular asset just import it into new projects created with Unity 2021, 2020 and so on. Just to check where you get errors, if any.

    It generally makes sense to use the latest LTS for new projects because it'll give you the least headaches in terms of device support.

    Nice. Thanks you for taking your time to reply, i found it very helpful. Its a full project, but i noticed that this bundle was actualized con april 2022 and the bad reviews was related to problems with admob so i think it should work nice.
    I will try.

    Thanks You!
