I am creating an animation pack for creating a movement system. I'm afraid I will make the animations wrong, as I think it is important that each animation starts from a specific leg, i.e. the legs that will be in front of the character at the beginning of the clip.

Can you tell me - Which leg does the each animation start with?

It's not a big deal because anyone can adjust the Cycle Offset in the Import Settings and if you're using a Humanoid Rig the Foot Phase Synchronisation system will automatically match them all up (though if you're making them from scratch you might as well start in the same place for all of them).

That said, to choose where to start you could set up a simple transition from an Idle to Walk Forward to see what looks the most natural since that's going to be the most common transition.

Cycle Offset really helps a lot when finding the right configuration for animations and makes it easier to edit the animations if needed. Thank you)
