Hi, I'm looking to upgrade from ARCore (via android phone) to an AR headset. Which AR headsets are currently best supported by Unity ARFoundation with the following requirements:
    1. 6DoF
    2. PlaneTracking
    3. ARCameraManager.frameReceived with a camera resolution of ~1080p (to get access to the headset's forward facing camera for computer vision analytics)
    4. Raycasting (AR)
    5. Cheap (ideally <$500)

I'm happy with full AR or VR with passthrough.

    Thanks.

I think Quest 2/pro recently got AR Foundation support. Check it out.
Don't think it works on Pico 4 yet sadly. Pico 4 has great cheap AR Passthrough.
I know Lynx R1 works with OpenXR, not sure about ar foundation.

That's it for vr with Passthrough, I have no experience with ar only glasses

Thanks. I'll take a look at those three.

We recently announced that Quest support is coming to AR Foundation, so look out for a public release in the future!

Is pico support also under consideration?

@DevDunk AR Foundation is openly extensible, so if ByteDance wanted to make an AR Foundation provider for Pico they are welcome to. We are not currently partnered with them on any Unity-developed provider package.
