Which 3D tiling plugin should I go for?

I've been looking for a good 3D tiling plugin and I've narrowed it down to two choices: The Rotorz Tile System and Tile Ed. (formerly the UniRPG Tile Editor).

Both seem to have the features I'm looking for, but the price point for the latter is pretty attractive. Then again, from what I've gathered the former seems generally more refined and optimized.

So I'd greatly appreciate it if people were to share their experiences with one or both of these plugins. How do they compare in terms of performance, ease of use, customer support, etc.? Are there any quirks/issues/details I should be aware of with either one?

Alternatively, is there another plugin that you would recommend over these two?
