Where's the Project Tiny Package? Can't find it in Package Manager!

    As of today (10/15/2019) you won't see "Project Tiny" package in the Unity Editor Package Manager window. We've removed it from the list until the next preview is available. The latest Project Tiny package (preview-0.16.1) is broken with the latest beta and its dependencies, but we do not plan to fix this until the next preview. So during that transition time we do not want users to discover Project Tiny in the Editor without the full context of what's happening.

    As we explained in our last update (https://forum.unity.com/threads/oct-2019-update-on-project-tiny-roadmap.754850/) lots of changes are undergoing for Project Tiny.

    If you are currently working with preview-0.16.1, you won't be blocked and you shouldn't even notice the change, but keep in mind that content you’ve authored with this preview of Project Tiny will have to be reworked and C# code will also need some adjustments. There won’t be any automated upgrade to the next preview.

    Today, I went to a Unity 3D event at USC in Los Angeles and the Unity Evangelists got me very excited about Project Tiny. So I found it very frustrating when I got home spending a lot of time trying to follow the directions to download it. Tried different versions of Unity etc. until I finally found this post. Since the instructions on the Unity website are now no longer valid, you should warn people. And it would be nice if you gave us a clue about how often to check for the new version of Tiny to return to the package manager. In other words, is it imminent enough that we should be checking every day or is it months away?

    It was in very early stage before and now with widened scope it's seems to be pushed back even further. I'd say it's years away from being usable. Take a hint from how other big features progressed: Unity UI, Nested prefabs, 2D features, etc. It usually takes years to bring those to public release and then few more years to make it production ready. I wouldn't hold my breath ;)

    But I was excited about this too. Seemed like a low-level enough solution you could build your own framework upon.

    I'm very frustrated when I spent a lot of time trying to download tiny mode on different versions of Unity etc.
    (2018.3.14f1 -> 2019.2.12f1)
    Please update this important information on the Unity website now, you can save time for many developers.

    Finally, I want to know how long I'll have to wait to use the Tiny Project? And, 0.16.1 version will support 3D?

    I want to use this feature to create playable ads for unity games.

    I am also waiting for project tiny to get available again. I have some plans to use project tiny for. How long should we wait for the next release?

    Or even a beta for getting start on being familiar with Tiny.

    I think keeping it on the package manager but putting this note that it's not ready yet is a smart way to send people over to this thread.

    Is there any way I can download an older Version of unity and tiny in order to try it? I'm in the planning phase for a new project that has to use browsers on both pc and ios and tiny seems perfect, however we have to make a decision quite quickly. Anyone willing to share a zip with me of a working empty project set up with tiny?

    I feel that the devs forgot to add stuff to this thread as this question appear over and over of how to make tiny work on actual builds.

    Having the mindset that this is a workaround, of a barely working Tiny version, you can try "hacking" Unity into seeing tiny in the project manager by doing this:

    Thank you so much egonraujo! This broadens my options a bit :) our project has a longer timeframe so we have some time to wait for a better version, but our need to build small and have a good pipeline for artists is front and center and there's not much out there but this!
