Question Where's the gimp executable on linux debian?

    Greets!

    I'm tryin to link gimp to my editor, but i can't find the exe. Would anyone from linux tells me?

    Exe files don't work on Linux, I know that from experience, to install GIMP on Linux, there'll be a tar.gz file on the GIMP website designed specifically for Linux, download that, and if you have admin rights to install stuff, run it, and it'll install for you.

    Thxs, got gimp installed already, but i can't find the executable, whatever its name. Searched via the launcher, via the net, via the terminal and with catfish... No avail.

    Download the Linux flavour, and put it on your Desktop, that way you'll see it on the Desktop and remember where it is.

    :) Tried that also, but since it's already installed, it just go to the software manager with only options to launch or remove...
