Where would one pay for advertising for Asset Store plugins?

I don't know if anyone does this, but our company would like to try it and see if the ROI is worth it or not to advertise for our Asset Store plugins. Any suggestions on where to advertise?

 

if you tweet at the asset store on twitter they will retweet you and you can advertise on the forum

What do you mean "advertiste on the forum"? Is there banner ads somewhere? Or do you just mean have a thread on the supercrowded Asset Store forum, which we do have for all our plugins.

 

Interesting idea and worth a try but IMHO can't see it doing much but hurting your pocket.
For example, I think this will be similar to trying to promote a home made game online, except you'll face an even tougher challenge because assets are so incredibly niche. And what's even worse is that assets are low value + niche which doubles the problem, because you need to sell high volume to see ROI. Personally I'd stick to free ways of getting the word out.
