Hey all, I'm pretty brand new to Unity. I've toyed in the past in 3D and made a super simple 2D game years ago.

I was playing around, bought a sample character pack. The character has bones and an armature and material avatar but no animations as far as I can tell. I've been looking around for tutorials on animating in unity but for some reason and coming up blank. I'm finding stuff about using the animator to string together different animations programmatically, or apparently a new feature about procedure generating animation with the rigging (like having the character follow the camera with its head) but nothing about setting up a basic run or idle animation within Unity itself. Or even how to enter this screen in Unity.

Is this still something you can do in unity, does anyone have a link to a good tutorial or basic getting started? Or is it best done in another 3D program and then imported, back into unity?

    Thanks!
