Where to find funds for a project

Has anyone ever found a funding partner/partners by showing his project prototype on these Unity forums?
Or, how did you find funds to bring your production to the end?

 

Crowd funding is one of possible way.

 

These forums are for developers, usually new/hobby developers to talk with and support each other. Investors aren’t looking through the forums. If you are looking for investors, you need to go to them, you need look and actively pursue and communicate with them. This includes crowd funding. Posting an incomplete game on some dev forums isn’t how to get investors.

That would be like hoping to pay your rent by hanging out in front convenience storing and waiting for someone to accidentally drop a lottery ticket that is a winner. Doesn’t work like that, you need to put in some effort.
