Does anyone have any advice from where to begin learning Unity as a Sound Designer? I have someone who's looking to potentially higher me and advised me to be comfortable in Unity. What steps should I take to be a more effective member of the team in terms of using Unity?

It really depends what level of knowledge your potential employer expects. Are you just expected to give unity specific feedback or tips regarding how your sounds should be implemented or will you be handling the implementation yourself etc.. You might want to clear that up first. But for the basics I'd simply start by reading through the documentation [1] & the audio tutorials [2].

Sorry for the late respone - I thought I would've gotten a notification through email.

Thanks for the response. I think the more I know the better and that's exactly what my potential employer said to me. Personally, I would like to become very familiar with the whole process of creating a game and really understand C# scripting. I'm currently looking for a good Unity 5 scripting course to follow. I'm pretty much starting programming from scratch as I have no experience in this area.

It's nice to see that the Unity Audio tutorials are for Unity 5. I'm a little skeptical of following the others as I noticed most of them were for older versions.
