If you guys think you're in developer hell then think again. I've got milestones, and a deadline I just hit by evading the most bizarre bugs, most of which are fixed in not my version of unity!

Instead of being upset I just get on with it. And I'm pretty sure most people round here aren't up against that kind of pressure, so just carry on making the best games you can - and before you know it something cool will pop up for you to download!

From the release notes (you haven't seen yet):

    • iOS: Add iOS device support for generic Unity Remote (works through USB).

You mean Unity Remote won't end up being a jumbled, low-resolution mess anymore?

I'll have you know that it was fantastic for testing accessibility for users with the rare, but debilitating "supercompressedjpegvisionatosis"

Yes, that's what the last several posts have been talking about.

I hope 4.5 to bring some performance improvements on mobile devices. I'm stuck at 4.2.2 for that reason.

There is an estimate for 4.6? :)... TextMeshPRO will have some awesome new features which will be only released together with Unity 4.6 because it depends of new Transform Rects!

Awesome! Going to update later today. What I am looking forward to the most is the updated unity remote for android devices. Has anyone tried it yet? Hopefully its a lot more usable than the older unity remote.

I will try it out myself in a couple hours.

Looking forward to 4.6 later on. I am extremely excited for the new gui system as the current gui system always gave me issues.

    I love you unity!

Shame they took away linear colour space rendering for Unity Free. Is it really something that needed removing?

Huh? I don't think we removed it. It was never in the free version. We just hide the UI properly now.

Well it was accessible, and did actually change the in-game lighting to linear space. It was fully working, and I just assumed it had been left in as something extra for the free version. But I guess now it's been patched, I'll have to rework my lighting.
