Wasn't there an option to disable the Unity Game Window (that included the Input tab), seems to be missing from the latest Unity 2019.3 version.

Has Unity scrapped this or can I enable it somewhere? It was a quick and easy way for players to change key bindings.

    Thanks,

    Hi @decerto,

I'm sorry, but I don't know yet what you're referring to.

Can you please share a screenshot of what is missing?

    Thanks!

It was deprecated in 2019.1 and then removed in 2019.3.

Official alternative method is to use command line arguments to change resolution, and to implement the player key rebinding setting screen yourself (with the new input system).

There's been quite a kerfuffle. I didn't understand the commotion until I saw this post, then I realized that there's no way to let players rebind keys without changing out the entire input system now, so now I understand why people are frustrated.

They really should provide a template for this...

That would drastically simplify the transition.

That is single handedly the most stupid idea Unity has ever had.

Lack of key rebinds make most games unplayable for a lot of player (including me). Devs often did that really badly and hardcoded keys but sometimes going to that launcher and changing the keys made the game finally playable.

    Again, MOST... STUPID... IDEA... EVER.

Unity now has no choice but offer a solution for simple key rebinding implementation.

Maybe something like cInput2 but for the new system?

Seriously, removing a key feature without replacing it?! Geez...
