Where can I download C#

    I am a new learner, can anyone give me the link for downloading C# script please? Thank you

    Unity knows how to interact with various C# editors (or IDE's). It can use the most common one for C#, Microsoft Visual Studio. Older versions used a free version called Monodevelope. Details are in the Unity manual at https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/ScriptingToolsIDEs.html (found by searching "Unity C# editor").

    @Owen-Reynolds MonoDevelop is, as they say, deprecated. It won't run on Windows (without quite a bit of work). Basically, Microsoft said, "We're gonna be lazy and cannibalize this to make Visual Studio for Mac".

    If you want a fairly lightweight IDE, there's Jetbrains Rider...
