I am having a problem with Unity. Whenever I select the camera in the editor, Unity freezes. I am using a 2014 Macbook Pro running OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks. I am using Unity 5.3.0 and am new to this. Any help?

check if graphic emulation is set to openGL ES2.0
if it is then set it to nothing
if you have baked lightmaps then emulation will freeze editor for some reason
    at least for us

Annoying bit is set unity will reset this setting time to time without asking you

Mac or Windows, but at the moment i'm just beginning to understand Unity. Unity also freezes when I hit play in the editor. Does this have something to do with it? Nothing is corrupted, as I can build and run the game just fine.

It looks like I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution to this?
