And is it recommended to use the current version of DOTS ? Are there any serious bugs in it or it's good to go . I just wanted to use DOTS in a small project for learning purpose. Currently I am using LTS version of Unity 2018.4.12. Is it possible to use ECS,C# Job System ,Mathematica & Burst compiler packages in the 2018.4.12 version or I need to install the unity 2019.3 version ? Because in one of the ECS tutorial Brackey was using 2018.1 version .

Sometimes they are in changelog, sometimes in the documentation's getting started like in Addressables. The web should be able to display what's stated in package.json in the future.

When the version number reaches (1) or greater and does not contain letters (a or b) then it is ready to use. Because they really cant tell you.

My gut feeling tells me that its ready to use the day when they release a new unity editor that has very limited backward compatibility to the current editor.
