When screensharing unity game through discord, application dissapears from list

We want to support screensharing our game through discords screenshare feature. However, when we minimize our game, it disappears from discord's applications list about 1 second after it was minimized.

This doesn't seem to be a problem for other games on steam.

How can we prevent our game from dissapearing from this list when minimized? Does anyone know what is causing this or how other games are solving this problem?

EDIT: this happens when the game is running fullscreen, when we use windowed mode our game stays in discords list.

 

That's strange. Are you running in fullscreen mode or windowed mode? Maybe that makes a difference.

 

If we switch to windowed mode using alt+enter, it doesn't disappear, only when the game is in fullscreen mode, and you minimize the game (in order to press screenshare in discord).

 

Had to switch to windowed mode, share the screen, then switch back to full-screen mode and that worked for us =)

 

Similar issue here... When playing on a Unity build, there is no option to share the application through discord. This is an issue as audio cannot be transmitted through the normal "share entire screen" option.
