Our team decided to use 2020 for several reasons - one of them being that we thought it would release fully sooner than it has. The fact that the beta released only this week has been disheartening. But it's even worse for us that cloud build doesn't work for 2020.

Is there any word on when it will be added?

+1. I have migrate to 2020 but then it can't be chosen in cloud build which is frustrating

Agreed. We really need this in cloud build. We realize it’s still in beta, but we’re building games that are a long way out and are trying to stay ahead of the curve.

You forget how much you love cloud build until it’s gone...

It would be so nice if all builds available from the Unity Hub, was also supported on with Unity Cloud Builds.

Is there a list of supported Unity versions somewhere at least?

2020.1.0b1 is now available in Unity Cloud Build. As always since it's a new beta version I do not recommend upgrading unless you have serious need of the tech stream features, and there will be no new "Always Use Latest" target available until the final release version is available.

For listing the supported Unity versions you can look at your build target configuration - all unity versions that are supported by your build target will be listed there. The change logs page will also mention when new versions are made available.

In general there's a small delay before new Unity versions are supported by Unity Cloud Build vs Hub - this is because we need to validate that the new Unity version will actually function in UCB infrastructure, which is not always the case. In particular we do not support alpha versions except when specifically requested by a customer and there is often an extra delay when releasing new beta versions as these are frequently unstable and require further changes before they can be supported.
