When is out of just being a technical preview?

    I'd like to develop for magic leap, but my Hololens project is on Unity 2018.2 and the technical preview on 2018.1

    Does anyone know when we could expect a version update?

    Ditto, I'd like to compile content from ARkit / ARcore demos along side ML. Would love for this to be all in one project / editor.

    Would like to know this as well. FBX importer package seems to be broken in preview build. This package is great and I'd love to be able to use it.

    Preview builds do not have a deadline or public roadmap, and it's possible they won't make it to main Unity in the form or at all.

    Don't design a project around a preview, unless risk is irrelevant for you.

    The goal of previews are for you feed back while it's really early... no guarantee what happens after.

    If the roadmap states it you can depend on it. But then, it would not be a preview would it. If something is a preview, it's best not to design around it. The roadmap is the reliable indicator.

    Update: I was able to downgrade from 2018.2 back to 2018.1 MLTP8 without huge issues.
