WheelCollider Forward Friction not working

    Here is a picture of my WheelCollider (outer circle) and a SphereCollider (inner circle) that are Components on the same GameObject:


    I manually rotate my GameObject so it is oriented with the ground.

    Is there something wrong with this setup that is not allowing forward friction to work? It appears to always have zero friction, no matter what values I set for the Extremum, Asymptote or Stiffness.

    Here are my settings:

    I'm no pro but should that rigidbody be using gravity to create force against the material you are colliding with to generate friction?

    Fixed: I needed to move the wheel collider to a child GameObject. It needs to have freedom to rotate. Since I'm fixing the parent GameObject to always orient upwards, it was affecting it.

    Edit: Nevermind, I spoke to soon, my fix did not work.
