I've recently tried to make some performance benchmarks for some of my HDRP test projects, and switching between DX11, DX12 and Vulkan. In all cases so far, DX11 has the best performance (though not by a large margin). My tests do not use any third party / asset store packages. Just built-in HDRP shaders and shadergraph. Very straightforward stuff

nearly all comparison videos I can find also show that DX11 has better performance:

I was wondering if devs could share the roadmap when it comes to these Graphics APIs.
    • Can we expect them to give us better performance at some point?
    • Will they be used to their full potential for highest-possible-quality desktop games, or will it be a "common denominator" integration that sacrifices features/performances in favor of multiplatform support?
    • Are there tips (project settings / shaders) for better utilization of these APIs?

I'm mostly asking this from the high-end PC games development perspective
