i think ancient egyptian game devs were considered slaves.

nowadays i think we are sort of a mix. you have to slave away to make your game. you're creating something so its like being a craftsmen. you then have to sell your game so your like a merchant. writing all that code is like being a scribe. most games nowadays have soldiers in them. and if your an indie dev you are your own pharaoh and government to your project.
