What is the most pointless feature in Unity?

I say negative things about a lot of things in a lot of places.
Btw, I never said anywhere I quit the Unity community.

In fairness, it's hard to provide a meaningful response to this thread without being negative.

 

You can however give a negativ response that is funny.
I thought this was the point of this thread, anyways.

 

That is because some platform requires the unity splash screen due to licensing term(even if you are in pro). And at the same time this is an option for developers with slightly different license but on the same platform. I guess, for internal management issue it is. Also some might just like the splash screen, such as me

2. Unity Script
3. MonoDevelop
4. Event Trigger

I've discovered the most pointless thing with Unity. While not a feature, Unity's partnership with Songlily is completely pointless. See screenshot:

Especially if you're searching for smash mouth. That's so far under rock bottom you need a magma collector to keep going.

 

The selection is pretty limited at the moment. Don't worry about using search, the collection is small enough that browse all tracks only takes a couple of minutes.

 

Who would want to use this? You have no control over it: size, color.
Especially when the Unity standards includes a bunch of lens flare which are 100 times better than the built-in halo.

 

actually, I use this because it's exactly what I need, so there's no point in making a lens flare texture instead.
