What is that "Sample Assets" they put to download?

    Sorry guys I'm a NooB and don't know what is that "Sample Assets", What should we do with it? What is that for?

    And I have same question about "Built in Shaders" What is that for?

    build in shaders arent necessary unless you like to look at the source...


    Sample Assets is the new "Standard Assets", it has stuff like image effects, etc in there. It's the default assets that are available when you go to Assets - Import Package

    Thanks but why they put Standard Assets to download when those are available on unity by default? or it has some new asset?

    They are not available with unity by default unless you download them.

    You're saying it will adds new image effects and other stuff?

    New as compared to what?
    If you don't download the sample assets, they will not appear in your Assets -> Import Package menu.
