    I have a discount in most of my assets, until the next versions (as i handle a lot of Unity 5.6+ specific issues and warnings, javascript and Legacy particle deprecation and various other major things to make the assets ready for future Unity releases)

    Thanks as well for the complete listing in the previous post :). I added a final demo in my post above too for the older v1.2 effects not covered in the latest demos (effects are upgraded to Unity 5.6+ as well).

    Hey everyone. I'm going to help out in this thread, posting hidden sales and price drops. I find the thread a bit difficult to navigate though and think a better option is to check out http://www.assetstoresales.com where you can view all sales, by category, with searching and sorting and more features coming soon. But I can understand this thread being useful as a starting place since many of you are likely browsing the forum anyway.

    Let me know what you think of the post format above with the icons. I think images really help scan-ability of the pages but unfortunately I couldn't find a way to get multiple icons + titles in a row while still looking decent. So I compromised and included the icon for only the best deals of the bunch.

    My procedural level generation asset Procedural Dungeon Toolkit is about 1 to 2 week away from being updated with a couple major new features and models which will increase the price to $40 , until then you can still get it for $25.

    If you want to know what this new update is all about you can check out recent posts from this thread, but essentially the whole level generation algorithm has been revised and now generates much more complex maps than before. Here is a quick showoff of the generation of a couple levels, white tiles are "corridors", gray tiles are "staircases" and the colored shapes are "rooms", connected with a related entrance tile type. Next update will also allow you to make your own room shapes ( actually the main feature being shown in this video ) which the asset then rotates and places for you :)


    Keep in mind that this process is actually near instantaneous in real time. It's only been slowed down and animated for better viewing of the process. The asset uses this tile map data alongside a bunch of modular 3D models for walls, ceiling, floor, stairs, etc. to build the level, which makes it nice in a combination with a bunch of AAA textured models.

    I have seen a few posts of forum members posting for a " new free asset "
    I hope it is okay for me to post as well.
    This i found a few days ago, it is super and I do not know if it will be free forever.
    It is Visual Scripting that can write C# code, very easy and fun to use. On the second update
    it has functions to run substances at run time and a lot more.

    Thanks for finding that! It's a nice concept, in that it's kind of like the shader generators that produce shader code, but in this case this produces C# code to help control your game.

    Thank you Kennth and hopeful for talking about diamond, we are preparing diamond 1.1.3 which will have new good features:
    1. Colors for variable types. Each field has a color related to its variable type. Links are also colored according to variable types colors.
    2. Links shape enhancement to enhance graphs readability.
    3. Inventory list actions (add, remove, make the object of this index ready) for all lists types.
    4. Expose in the inspector (make variable public) in the get nodes.
    5. Data transfer, like any C# script written by an experienced developer, scripts generated by diamond can transfer and communicate data between them letting any objects in your scene communicating with others.

    Advanced FX Creator ($69 vs $100)

    I am in the process of remaking all assets for the latest Unity (Unity 5.6+, removing javascript and Legacy particles), this is a major reworking of all the systems so they are future proof and handle all warnings in Unity 5.6+ versions that have many changed features.

    Also in Advanced FX Creator i have converted the whole angry Bots projects into C# and re-adapted the system for this. The full conversion is still WIP (all scripts are done and the demo is working, i need to check thoroughly that all scripts have been changed to C# before final release)

    How feasible is this for an indoor ground fog situation (think the cave scene in Ridley Scott's "Alien" movie)?

    Well, it should look really cool. Add it to your camera, choose Low Fog, Sea Clouds or even Toxic Swamp preset, adjust height, limit the extents to the area (using the Fog Area section) and add a bit of turbulence and/or wind.

    I was on the fence as well, we are releasing a game on Steam soon, the little I used seems really good for both in and out doors. so far. But I just bought during the sale myself....25 bucks isn't much for any tool really. so I took the plunge.

    agree, I dont feel he gets the love he deserves sometimes. I feel its the demos may be off putting to some, took me a year to buy his assets, I now have used in a few games for the last 1 1/2 year or so, I been very pleased with them for mobile and PC.
