Hi. Last year I inputted my Pro serial number to Unity version 4 . I want to upgrade but how can I "view" my current serial number from within the Manage serial numbers preference (?) pane? There are a number of options but none that I can find that simply informs me of my current serial number. Thank you.
Did you pay to upgrade to Unity 5? Whether you did or not you can use Unity 5 Personal for free, that has all of Unity's features, with a few limitations. you'll have to see the product page. Your serial number is in the email you received after you purchased Unity. You may also contact customer support. I always save my important emails and also make back ups of all serial numbers and passwords. I just found my license serial number online at https://store.unity3d.com/account/licenses.
I found my serial number However, when I tried to Add to the above link I got a message: This serial cannot be managed from the Online Store, please contact sales if you wish to make changes to it. I need the Pro version of Unity and I can only 'upgrade' to version 5 Pro though am using 4.6. I was told that version 5 Pro license will also cover previous versions. When I input the license number it still says it is expired even though I have paid of the version 5 Pro upgrade
I got a response from the vendor STUDICA and it appears Pro licensing has changed a lot which effects Education users. Unity never got back to me in 2 weeks
Maybe they recognized the serial number as bought from another vendor? Most likely they have a lot of emails to go through.
That's strange. PM me the support case number and I'll go look at what happened. (My guys usually reply inside a day.) A case number you sent in 2 weeks ago would definitely have been responded to. (Only support case I can find from you was from Sept '13.)
