What is Compass.trueHeading delivering on iOS 11+?

I learned in this WWDC talk that iOS per default "corrects" heading data if the device is moving, i.e. it takes into account the "course" of the device. This is to deliver better heading data in navigation apps.

For AR, however, it is important to get the "real" geographic heading of the device, independent of any movement compensation.

So I am wondering which of this is actually delivered by Compass.trueHeading?

(I don't mean Compass.magneticHeading, which is the direction towards the magnetic North.)
