First of all, I will say that I have selected in the Preferences to use Visual Studio (2015) instead of MonoDevelop

And the thing is, when I try to open my C# script, Unity opens with MonoDevelop!!!
I have not done anything weird with Unity or anything like that.

A few days ago it happened to me, and apparently I fixed it by closing the project and re-open it.

But today ... today is all the time.
    It sucks.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you.

Don't use that kind of language on the forum. People doesn't come here to see you raging about something.

Uninstall monodevelop, the first mistake you made was to install that abomination.

This doesn't sound like a very objective review. I've had very few problems with monodevelop.

    I get it.
But I'm not angry, just I say it sucks.
Sorry to have disturbed the minds of everyone on the Internet.

I don't know you, but I'm sure that sometimes you picked wrong your words.

    Inside a forum or outside.

All of us are people, and people aren't perfect.
    You should know.

Don't try to be like old moms by replying in a little post 'cause up there says "F***" or "S***".
    Anyways it's censored.

You have better things to do, I'm sure.
    Don't bother about this.

    I love you.

Who cares whether it is censored or not? You don't have to be perfect, but you are allowed to think and you should use that right. If you want to get help, ask in a decent way. It is as simple as that.

Everyone is pissed off from time to time, that's okay. If you want to get constructive help, don't act like that!

    Don't be angry.
    It's just a page :p
    I'm not pissed.

While writing this I was quiet.
    Anyway, this post may end.

    My problem is solved.

@Monsieur Null I was just about to close this thread. Take the kind advice from the mods instead of being antagonizing. :)

    Please don't say that!
I'm sorry if I sounded like enemy, but isn't the truth.

I'm just trying to speak as I usually do...
And here is a picture of my Preferences on Unity.
(Not much to see really, 'cause my problem was as soon as it came):

    Awesome! thank you so much!!

Does MonoDevelop still exist in your drop down? and/or is MonoDevelop set as the default program to open .cs files :D

That's what happened. That you said.

But MonoDevelop didn't set by default. Just when I clicked on any of my C# scripts, the program says: "Opening Visual Studio 2015", and suddenly MonoDevelop says: "better use me!". Then it opens.

    It was like that.

But obviously MonoDevelop didn't speak, it simply opened even though the program said it was opening Visual Studio 2015.

    It solves itself.
    I don't know how.
    Sorry, I can't say.
