Question What graphic format's best for sprites? PNG?

    Topic.

    I've finally gonna try and make something soon, something completely original that's all my own work rather than copying a game from a tute project.

    I just wanted to ask the above question is all?

    You are probably best off by having the work files outside of the Unity project in PSD format so that you can have the layers etc. intact. And then use PNG in the project, It works very well for many use cases. So if early on in the development you run into some issue, you can always back away from PNG (which I doubt would happen) and change to another format.

    Thanks, however I suck at Photoshop, I've used GIMP which is very similar though.
