What GPU to buy for HDRP? Heretic requirements?

Hi!

I cannot found anywhere what system was the Heretic demo running on.
I downloaded the Morgan asset from the asset store, and it runs like 6-7 fps on my ultrabook.
I want to develop similar content, but cannot confirm what is the optimal system for that.

Is an RX 580 enough to achieve 60 fps in the editor? And maybe 30 fps when running it in 1080p?

What GPU would you recommend?

The Heretic demo is pretty graphically intense, and hitting 60 FPS in Editor is always difficult, due to Editor overhead and the fact that play mode is purposely unoptimized.

I haven't seen the Demo Team state what hardware they used, but considering Unity probably spent around a quarter million dollars creating the demo (a half dozen or so people who make ~100k a year, working on the project for months), it would be surprising if Unity had them do it all on a $150 budged build graphics card. They probably are running RTX 2080 Super or better would be my wild guess.

I upgraded to an RTX 3070, but the demo still runs pretty poor, <40 FPS.
