Can someone please tell me what this number means? I know this is in blender, however I have a long list of issues when trying to import and use animations in Unity. I think whatever this means might be causing some of the issues. I have done research but haven't found a clear answer that I understand. If anyone could just provide a brief explanation on what this number is. Thank you.

Well - theres a few numbers in the box you highlited.

I dont use blender, im a Max guy, but, one of those numbers is the frame count. How many frames are in the animation. As for the one on the top bar, you will need a blender user to clarify that. GL

Yeah it's the number in between the name of the animation and the shield. But thanks for the feedback!

I'm pretty new to blender myself so take what I say with a grain of salt but I'm pretty sure it's the number of references that animation has in your project. Your animations (and indeed pretty much everything in Blender) can be referenced multiple times via the NLA strip, different scenes, and different actors. This number effectively let's you know that count making it harder for you to delete something you really didn't want to.
