We have a VR-supported (cardboard) mobile app that does not start in VR - The first VR SDK is 'None', the second is 'Cardboard'.
This is great to be able to have a normal app with optional VR sections where you use cardboard support.

However in 2018 (latest LTS) something has gone wrong with the loading section of the app. Any enabled loading indicator is partially covered or invisible, we have not enable a splash screen and the VR and static screens are not shown (it is unclear if they should be).

Are there bugs with the loading section when you include VR but do not start with it enabled?
