    Hello!

I work with assistive technology for the blind and visually impaired (B/VI). I am trying to leverage Unity to help B/VI identify objects through sound.

I have a point cloud of a 3D cube which has multiple data points, there are many approaches through raycast to trigger sound and collision detection also but which would be best in this context? Or a different? approach entirely

What do you think are the best methods to achieve the notion of scanning a 3D cube through FPS to identify its shape through sound?

I have attempted to draw what I mean and attached.

The point clouds has thousands of data points that could be leveraged, maybe in an array? or perhaps the geometry itself? Or just the edges?? to drive sound attributes, pitch, freq, volume, panning etc

I appreciate your thoughts on this.

    R
