Resolved What causes these pop-in bright spots?

    I've been trying to debug this all day to no avail... from certain angles and distances, parts of my scene glow an otherworldly white. But once you get close enough or look at it from the right angle, it looks correct.

    From process of elimination, I've determined that the problem's source is something to do with the reflection probes. I've got decent coverage, they're all baked, the baked maps look accurate (none of them are just the kind of bright white that could cause this).

    I've run out of ideas for things to check... anyone else know what causes this?

    Sorry, should mention I'm on latest stable, 2020.3.2f1.

    Also, it's not a lightmapping UV overlap or light probe issue; I've ruled those out already.

    Hmmm... These artifacts seem to go away if I restart the Unity Editor after baking is complete.

    That looks like a reflection probe issue maybe o_O
