    The purpose was to code some advanced AI(so it later could be used as the AI for warriors, in bigger war games and RPGs)

    There is no player(yet), so you can't control anything. I just wanted to demonstrate som of the AI, im working on.

    and the thing written backwards. Its actually just something I fastly implemented, to see what the warriors was doing(like attacking, blocking and stuff).

    You got it! I am assuming that this is a single cell of something like Massive - crowd crontrol or battle simulation. This way you can send two AI-controlled units to fight each other. I'd assume that this was either for BG color, or for the vfx/resolution in an RTS style game.

    Working on making my game have a cartoony feel to it :) still working on models, and the scripter has started making the basic fps controls atm,

    Oh BTW in the video,..you seem to have a bit of translation issues,.

    the end line:

    "You just make you turn and too smoker have been char!"


    should possibly read

    "You have turned into a smoker and have been charred!" instead.

    @Welby : Not much to show right now. We finished the cart database and the login database and are beginning to work on the single player portion of the game. We are hoping to release this year and should be no problem.

    guys, i need ideas, for the system that runs itself, what do i make it do? I need lots of things to make it do. I have text-to-text speech working whit the system, i just gotta make it do something!

    I'm working on UniDDatabase. Here is a link to the Page.

    It just got release to the Asset store and I've gotten a warm reception from my peer developers. I'm working on a BrickBreaker demonstration. I'm able to use my 1 line of code logic to generate 144 prefabs to form a wall. I have a class called UniDDatabaseCs, for C# users. I've just submitted an update to the Asset store that also includes. UniDDatabaseJS, for people who enjoy using javascript. The function I'm invoking to do all of those instantiations is called.

    "UniDDatabaseCs.MassInstantiation(arrayOfGuiPrefab,arrayOfGuiPostion,arrayOfGuiRotation);"

    This function will instantiate any number of prefabs in a DDatabase with one line of code. BrickBreaker will be a simple demonstration. However, the same logic will work for a complicated game like LA Noire, where you have a lot of objects at specific locations. That's just one function. Let me know if anybody has any questions.

    Ha,..now that is the million dollar question!

    I am not sure where you want to 'go' with it.

    But let's see,..what goes on inside UNity?

    You can have Physics Programs frantically trying to keep things on the ground or in the air,..or churn water sims.

    Some I/O programs that protect the ports from unwanted texts.
    Little guys building GUIs

    oh,..and

    Have an Arena where Methods() and Functions() duke it out for sport. :p

    I do have a mute option haha

    What sound effects in particular do you not like? I'm open to suggestions and have a guy who would be able to make them (almost all the current fx were made by me and I'm no sound designer)

    I'm building an ultra-old-school, first-person, grid-based RPG for iOS (and Android if I can afford it at some point). Hoping to bring some of that amazing "Dungeon Master" style gameplay back into the world.

    Getting really close to completion too. Starting to get pretty excited about the whole thing.


    And to think it was all just a dream until I discovered Unity.

    I like the sounds,...especially when the bowl breaks,.and the little fella flies out all flopp'in and whatnot,..he heee



    quite fun! Has a Crazy Taxi feel to it, which I loved!

    Are you going to add some kind of mechanic with the truck? like to open the back and dump stuff out,..or pick up trash,.and compress it,..? he hee Hey, it Is a DumpTruck afterall.

    Nice work,..nice clean and simple,..me likes.

    Aye Unity is Amazing,.which I found it earlier!

    like 15 years earlier,..heheee


    though I do remember having 'click-n-play' :)

    Just working on an example for my new cover system (going to release it to the Asset Store over the summer). It took literally 5 minutes to set all of this scene up, as I've tried to make everything as automated as possible. It can still be customised, as I'm using the Custom Handles extension!

    It would defiantly be better if every time you right click it does not give you the option to make it full screen. :D

    HAHA!!!!! Fun! Especially when you go fast and the truck dosn't shift so the sound just keeps getting higher! And then I went to turn while going really fast held down "S" while turning then I tipped and went through the ground :D And then the sound still raised to all the way it could go.

    Definitely. Will probably just do a web player build eventually depending on how iOS sales end up going. I've been doing them for my friends to test the game on and they've been enjoying playing it that way too.

    This is a Unity "helper" script that generates Cubemaps for your games without the need for the Pro version!

    I showed this off last october... It's been a while. I lost the script as well haha. But now its done.

    Check out the video why dont'cha?

    Shaders...


    (click the attached thumb below for a larger image)

    Attempting to make shaders with Ramp/Bump/Rim Lighting. The colors, models and textures are just thrown together to see if my shader worked or not, so no, I have no idea what I would do with a blue glowing brick barrel :p .

    Grey Barrel: Only Rim Ramp and specular color
    Brick Barrel: Uses RIm, Ramp, Bump and a texture
    Brick wall: Experimenting with Rim at angles to give atmosphere to items. Make items 'foggy' based on viewing angle. There is no fog set for the scene.

    A big thank you to the SSE crew for making the plug in that allowed me to create this shader. This shader was compiled mainly by copying and pasting example shader graphs together, so nothing ground breaking here.

    Play

    WASD / Arrows to move
    Space for shield (drains power)
    Esc to pause

    Collect blue orbs to increase power, and yellow to slow time. Avoid the red cubes. Title may be subject to change.
