    Even with the video, I'm still stumped by what you need to do in that first cube matrix...

    @marcos
    yes the first one its a skin shader but the normal effect its more powerful than the actual shader (bumped specular ) ,I agree the first one is nicer

    @dogzerx
    its a custom shader make with strumpy ,but for now light dont work on it

    this is a sample of my game Robot Universe. Ignore the main character, WIP. Ignore the slamming doors, i need to still code those. The point is to show off the art.

    Nice mesh, except for those two really long, thin tris. I'd turn those so they terminate out towards the table end rather than the table centre.

    Keep the legs separate elements, yeah.

    Yes, much :)

    You want to avoid long, thin tris where you can. They often cause lighting issues and cause more overdraw for the renderer.

    Rocks, i cant believe how long it took to make those. There are 8 more meshes, each of them was sculpted and retopologised, but even that it took me so long that i dont have enough steam to finish other half of them.

    Been busy working on adding a Tile map editor to SimpleSprite. Still very early in development, but I'm pretty happy with progress thus far.

    As you can see, the TileEditor tool takes a single material and data sheet (SimpleSprite generated) and chops it up for you, allowing you to click on the various frames and place them in scene. Placement is auto-snapped, Double-clicking rotates placed tiles, and best of all, it's all one draw call!

    You might want to tone down on the noise...
    and in places, because of the spec it looks like metal not rock.
    Other than that, its great.

    For that table, I'd expect a 256 or a *really* well done 512.

    Also, just because the .bmp or .tga you export is 3mb, that doesn't mean that's what it is in-game. Unity will compress it, look at the texture in your Indpector and the preview window at the bottom will give you the true amount of memory it takes up.

    To be honest, you could stack those two halves on top of one another. No one will ever notice that the underside of the table shares the same texture as the top of the table.

    Probably not a game I would play (myself) but has more to it (lots of selection options, which is cool)
    than a lot that seem like this type of game play (characters follow you around and you destroy them).
    When you go into rage mode and walk over the enemies, that almost looks like HIPPO, but no, it couldn't be, right?

    :)
