I currently marked my game 18+ because I'm afraid of putting it as children friendly because it has ads.

I'm submitting a new version today and I marked on Unity Services that the game is directed to children (COPPA compliant), I also went to Unity Ads and added the filters in the image, are there any more filters I need to put on the ads or would these suffice?

The game has no adult content, I want to mark it as 13+ or maybe 9+ on Google Play as target audience.

It also collects no data from users except from whatever unity might do.

The filters I activated on Unity Ads:

My app was also rejected, I am trying to target 9+. I will try these filters next

    • For example, your app contains an ad for dating -> Check Dating and Social Media
    • For example, your app contains an ad for gambling -> Check "Casino, Card, Dice, Lottery and Gambling"
    • For example, your app contains an ad for contests or sweepstakes promotions -> "Check Contests and Shopping"
    • For example, your app contains an ad for sexual content - Also Dating?
    • For example, your app contains an ad for alcohol - Check "Alcohol Beverages"
    • For example, your app contains an ad for drugs/tobacco or uncontrolled substances - ?? Check "Health and Medicine, Food".

Check "Personal Finance" just to be sure..
I would be great if a Unity representative could provide a complete list of what to check, instead of forcing me to guess. Or even better, a simple targeting system like Google: Just select 9+ and you are good to go.

Unfortunately, we are not able to advise you regarding your submission to the Google Play Store. We can't guarantee what settings will get you approved because we have no say in the policy decisions for any app store.

Right now, the settings in the dashboard are as much granularity as we can give you over the ads displayed in your game. Ultimately, the decision of which settings to change is up to each individual publisher.

I think that is a good suggestion and I will raise it with the product team. It will require closer collaboration with the app stores, so it won't be an overnight process, but it's worth pursuing.
